One of my favorite projects I did in Language Arts was the independent food project. For the independent food project, you had to read any type of book and base a food off of it, for example one of my classmates made a Harry Potter book cake which was based off of a spell book in Harry Potter. For mine, I tried to make something from Percy jackson. In the Percy Jackson series, they didn't have as much food except the lotus flower cookies. So I made the lotus flower cake except I made it like a meringue cookie.
